Australasia’s largest real estate group, Ray White, will hold Perth’s biggest in-room auction event with a target of 100 properties to go under the hammer in one day. Ray White Western Australia Sales Up 40 Per Cent Australasia’s largest real estate group, Ray White, recorded a 40 per cent improvement on its residential sales performance in Western Australia last month compared to the corresponding period in 2008. Ray White WA CEO Mark Whiteman said the group’s state-wide sales for August, 2009, totalled $150 million, compared to $109 million in August, 2008. North of the CBD is the place to be in Perth Suburbs north of the Perth CBD have experienced a market revival, as affordable homes, proximity to the city and ongoing changes to infrastructure continue to attract families to the area. North Perth, Mt Lawley, Bayswater, Morley and Beechboro are among those that have grown by at least 9 per cent in the past year, according to Landgate Valuation Services.
