Sydney Housing Property Market Strong

The Australian Bureau of Statistics has given a surprisingly strong reading for Sydney’s housing market, with prices up 4.9 per cent in the three months to June. However analysts say the market has indeed slowed, only it is not yet reflected in the figures. House prices rose nationally by 3.1 per cent over the June quarter, ABS house price indices for June found. Sydney was the top contributor, with price growth running at the same pace as the March quarter, with Melbourne close behind at 3.2 per cent. The site at 48 Kristin Lane, Upper Coomera, was sold to a local buyer by Ray White Commercial M1 North’s Karen Seeto. The Gold Coast Rapid Transit project has become the first major tenant in Tower 3 of the $700 million Southport Central mixed-use development. Ray White Commercial has been appointed as the sale and leasing agents for the office space in the 27-level Tower 3 building. Development sites with approvals in place are proving highly popular, with Ray White Special Projects Queensland selling three properties in just two days.
