Wealth Conference 2012 Launched
The Wealth Conference started as a Ray White conference, but is now open for any principal or agent that is looking to change the way they do things.
The first Wealth Conference was held in 2007 in its original guise as the Ray White Property Management conference.
It was clear back then that there is a growing body of professionals in our industry who are eager to change the way we manage properties. They are passionate about growth, career development, service delivery and innovation.
It was also clear that when these like minded people started to talk and share ideas the energy became infectious. The people were more important than the brand, and the best people thrive when there is debate, innovation and opportunity to try something new.
The Wealth Conference started as a Ray White conference, but is now open for any principal or agent that is looking to change the way they do things. It was a hard idea to get our heads around at first, but we are now certain that the open exchange of ideas and debate benefit all of us, with the costs only being borne by those in our industry that wish change to stop.
Last year we had 800 delegates, and one hell of a party. Next year we want to continue the project, with more colleagues, more ideas, more resources. And, of course, a bigger party.
The theme of Wealth Conference 2012 is “Breaking Out.” The agenda is tailored to those in our industry that want to break out from some of the constraints that hold us and our industry back. Our ambition is to once and for all deal with the perception that landlords want to choose an agent based on price, and to debate, develop and launch programs and resources that we will need to transform our growth potential and profitability.
There will be case studies to analyze, workshops to develop new ideas and priorities, and a range of industry professionals that are offering their time in 1-on-1 meetings with delegates.
The theme for the gala ball is “Vegas”, so don’t forget the costumes. Prizes and bragging rights await the best-dressed individuals and agencies.
Held over the 3rd and 4th of June, in Benowa, QLD, Wealth Conference 2012 is being driven by Ray White and apmasphere. We are also getting support from a range of sponsors and industry professionals who are supporting the industry and it’s transitions to a new way of doing business.
