Robina Property Sales

Ray White Commercial Robina has enjoyed a record run of sales and leasings on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers region of New South Wales since the start of the year.

Ray White Robina/Varsity Group Principal Scott Burgess said his team had generated almost $16 million worth of sales and completed 14 leasings in the first two months of 2010.

The sales highlight was the $4.1 million achieved for a 9,790 sqm vacant development site with approval for a large scale shopping centre on Manchester Road at Carrara.

“We have had an exceptional run so far in 2010 with 13 sales generating just under $16 million and 14 leasings worth around $500,000 a year,” Mr Burgess said.

“These achievements are a credit to the hard work and persistence of our team.”

Mr Burgess said a strong indicator of the boost in sales and leasing activity had coincided with listings almost doubling between September, 2009, and January this year, while 60 new signage boards were posted in February alone.

He said March was also shaping as a strong month for sales and leasings to complete an outstanding first quarter of the year.

Mr Burgess said most of the commercial properties and development sites sold were between $800,000 and $1,375 million.

“Most of our activity for sales and leasings is in Burleigh Heads and Robina,” he said.

‘But our team is active in an area stretching from Lismore to the northern Gold Coast.”

Mr Burgess said the current state of the property market was ideal for investors, and increasing numbers of investors had returned to the market.

He said a large part of the Ray White Robina/Varsity Group’s sales successes were due to the regular in-room auction events it staged.

The next in-room auction will be held at the Chancellor Conference Centre at Varsity Lakes from 6pm on Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
