Ray White’s Sales up 40% on Previous Year

Ray White, has reported a 40 per cent improvement in its final sales results for 2009.

Ray White Chairman Brian White said the group in December achieved total sales of $2.4 billion, compared to $1.7 billion in the corresponding month in 2008.

“The market during 2009 was widely fluctuating but we have ended the year with very strong figures, something no one would have guaranteed 12 months previously,” Brian White said.

Ray White’s top performing market in December, 2009, was New South Wales with residential sales totaling $698 million – a 66 per cent increase on December, 2008.

Western Australia was 58 per cent up, Queensland rose 33 per cent and Victoria was up 30 per cent.

In New Zealand, Ray White had sales of $265 million – a 15 per cent improvement on December, 2008.

Brian White said other divisions of the group also had good results with Ray White Commercial up 63 per cent and Ray White Rural 35 per cent.

“It’s good to finish the year on such a positive note and these results highlight why the Ray White Group is publicly acknowledged as the clear market leader in Australasia,” Brian White said.
